About Victoria
Here’s the truth: growing up I held a lot of shame about who I was, my identity, my body, my thoughts and this made me feel like I didn’t belong anywhere. It made me scared, anxious and nervous about everything: my job, my studies, my dating life, my family life and my social life.
The things I am MOST PROUD OF NOW are the things I used to feel ashamed about. Including:
My identity as a Vietnamese-Chinese-Canadian and daughter of immigrants (was always adamant I was just Canadian)
Being raised by a single mom on welfare (being poor sucked)
Being the eldest daughter (responsibility and pressure to take care of everyone)
Being sensitive, intuitive, empathetic and spiritual (who swears)
Being a deep feeler and thinker (was told I was “too intense”)
Being an Asian woman who didn’t fit the stereotypes (“your b00bs are too big to be Asian”)
Being my parent’s emotional and mental caretaker (the responsibility was heavy)
I was constantly trying to prove myself and convince others that I was good enough, because all of the above made me feel NOT good enough.
After leaving a toxic relationship, I finally stood up for myself and built the courage to listen to my intuition. I left my well-paying job, career, apartment, family and friends behind in Toronto, Canada to explore different ways of being as I traveled Southeast Asia and Australia. fyi, I ended up turning 1 year abroad to 6 years.
Changing the relationship I have with myself allowed me to feel more confident, trust myself, enjoy who I am, and feel brave living as ME. When we change our inner world, our outer world changes, too.
Having worked with thousands of clients, I bring experience, knowledge, ancestral wisdom and compassion to how I support you.
