What is yin yoga:
In yin yoga we slow it down and hold poses for anywhere between 1 - 5 minutes. This style focuses on deeply stretching the fascia, connective tissue in the body and activates the meridian (energy) lines. There isn't much movement in yin, instead we focus more on the breath to create space and let props support us.
Yin is great for letting go of tension, increasing flexibility, strengthening joints and calming the mind. Yin is also a great balance to other dynamic (yang) practices you might participate in like cardio, core work, vinyasa or ashtanga yoga. It offers the yin to our yang (busy/doing) lives!
What is a gong bath:
‘The Gong is the spirit song. It is the primal whisper for the soul. It’s sound is the echo of the original word that created the universe, the SOUND within all sounds” Yogi Bhajan
The rhythm and vibration of the gong creates a truly unique and magical experience.

Gillian uses this combination of reiki energy, crystals, flower essences & gongs to help her clients achieve balance in their lives. She works in a caring, loving & gentle way.

Trained in multiple yoga, movement and meditation styles, Victoria brings it all together by incorporating mindfulness as a way of cultivating balance and connecting back to ourselves on all levels of the being - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
As a daughter of refugees, Victoria lived her life trying to be perfect and pleasing others as a way of subconsciously honouring the sacrifices her family went through to get to Canada. This often meant she held a lot of guilt and shame, and rarely looked after her own needs.
It wasn't until she listened to her intuition and decided to leave her career, apartment, family and friends to explore different ways of being that embraced all parts of her that she found confidence, trust, and meaning. And no, they weren't on a tropical island or in the materials one accumulates, they were all inward.
Having worked with thousands of students, and taught over 3,000 hours, Victoria offers knowledge, wisdom, and life experiences from the heart to show you that when you courageously put yourself first, when you learn to connect to yourself, you can have all that you want in life and work. Her approach draws in teachings in buddhism, yoga philosophy, functional movement study, trauma informed practices, and from my teachers Thich Nhat Hanh and the Plum Village Spiritual Community, Hang & Sarah of saigon om, Gillian Harrison of Enso Space, and many, many more.
As a student of life on a journey of cultivating calm, community and connection, she enjoys floating in the ocean, delicious green and leafy herbs, and her coffee black. She also the Founder of Yoga in Vietnam, Vietnam's leading digital platform for yoga and wellness.
