Be courageous enough to be yourself.
Be courageous enough to be yourself.
What does that mean to you?
Maybe it’s to stand up for what you believe in.
Maybe it’s to make decisions that align to you and your life, regardless of the opinions of your family / friends / colleagues / society.
Maybe it’s to make a commitment to show up for yourself.
Maybe it’s to say no, to set boundaries for yourself.
Maybe it’s to say yes, to step into opportunities and possibilities that present themselves to you because they feel right, even if it scares you a little.
Doing nothing is easy.
It's easier to stay in your comfort zone than risk stepping into uncertainty and trying something new.
It’s a brave act you take when you live your life how you want to, when you honour your authenticity and take action steps that align with that.
It also means potentially feeling really vulnerable.
Vulnerability is not a weakness.
Slowing down does not make you less than that person you see on Instagram. Or your mom-friends. Or your colleague.
Taking the time to build a relationship with yourself is not selfish.
Learning how to honour yourself, trust yourself, and be confident in yourself is not a luxury.
Being genuine is a practice.
It’s courageous. And, it's important.
If all of this is resonating with you and you’re feeling overwhelmed by the desire to slow down and be authentic but also overwhelmed by where to start, I am here to support you.
Take the first small courageous step now and I’ll support you as you walk on this path of living more authentically and courageously as yourself. You don’t have to do it alone.
