A practical exercise to embody more trust

I was walking along Lake Ontario, enjoying the abundance of beauty Mother Nature offered me when I had this insight:

We trust that the sun is always going to rise the next day.

We trust that after an inhale comes an exhale.

And that feeling of trust does beyond just the logical mind.

I invite you to FEEL into those statements.

You just KNOW the sun will rise, right?

The feeling of trust that this will happen is a deep knowing in your body.

Now, what would happen if you could feel this type of EMBODIED TRUST in all the different areas of your life?

To feel deeply that you trust yourself.

Or that you trust that you're meant to be where you are in life.

Or trust that you are right on time.

Trust that you're enough, more than enough, as you are.

When we embody trust, when we tap into this energy in our bodies and it becomes a way of being, the possibilities and opportunities are endless.

We don't hold ourselves back.

We aren't controlled by our fears or anxieties.

We don't hide or shrink ourselves to please others.

We stand firmly in trust.

We anchor ourselves within trust.

We turn our eyes inward and recognize that trust is something we, individually, have the power to cultivate for ourselves – we aren't waiting for prince charming to come and give it to us!

How can you start embodying trust?

In this 2-minute video I share a practical exercise for you to try.

Ask yourself, when you think about something you trust without question (ie. the sun coming up every morning):

  • How does this knowing feel?

  • Can you describe in sensations, colours, textures, vibes?

And as you deepen your awareness of this feeling, can you cultivate this before you go to work, or share a social media post, or talk to your parents?

Practice, even when its imperfect.
